Van Mahotsava means “Tree Festival”. This tree planting festival is observed annually, over a period of week starting from 1st July to 7th July. Van Mahotsava was started in 1950 by K.M. Munshi, the then Union Minster for Agriculture and Food to create enthusiasm among masses for forest conservation and planting trees
IN OUR PARISH WE CELEBRATED VANMAHOTSAVA ON 25 JULY 2021 . THIS EVENT WAS LED BY THE CATHOLIC SABHA OF OUR PARISH . WE PLANTED FEW TREES AROUND THE CHURCH CAMPUS . MR. LESLIE AROZA FAMILY COMMISISION DIRECTOR WAS ALSO PRESENT FOR THIS EVENT ALONG WITH REV. FR. ANIL DSOUZA OUR PARISH PRIEST AND BOARD MEMEBERS OF CATHOLIC SABHA AND PARISHIONERS.
