COMMUNITY DAY CELEBARTION

On 11-02-2023 community day was celebrated in our parish. The celebration began with the Eucharist. The Eucharistic celebration was presided by the  Deanary Director of BCC Rev. Fr Roy Lobo, Concelebrated by the BCC Director Rev. Fr Herald Pereira, Diocese of Udupi who broke the Word of God, Rev. Fr Roshan Menezes OFM (CAP), Rev. Fr Anil Dsouza, Parish Priest and Assisted by the Deacon Rikson Monteiro.  After the Eucharistic celebration cultural program was held in the Church vicinity. The inauguration of the event was done in a creative manner. Three eminent personalities Mr. Balappa, Former Head Master of Infant Mary School, Perampalli, Mr Dolphy Mascarenhas, Choir Master, Mrs Anitha Belinda Olivera, newly elected Municipal Councillor, were felicitated. The Chief Guest Rev. Fr Roy Lobo conveyed an apt message for the day. The Post-Graduated parishioners were honored for their achievement. Later Ward Members displayed the colorful program with the relevant messages. After the cultural event the President of the Program Rev. Fr Anil Dsouza gave the concluding message. At the end prizes were distributed to the winners of different competitions. Deacon Rikson Monteiro prayed grace before the meal. The event ended with the sumptuous meal and Baila Dance.
